I could sum myself up in loves drinking an iced chai tea, has two chihuahuas, and listens to too much Taylor Swift, but if we’re going to be sharing the deep stuff, then maybe we should go a little further than that, right?

I was born and raised Roman Catholic. In the past six years, I have truly wanted to know God and create a relationship with Him. I have a strong devotion to Mary, and my patron saints are St. Dymphna and St. Pier Giorgio Frassati.

I was born with a rare disease, but only got diagnosed with it in 2018, and have been a member of the chronic illness community since, and advocacy has become an extremely important part of my life.

I am a published author and will be publishing my first fiction book series soon. You can find my books on Amazon under my author name, Sammy Rae. My first book/devotional is called Walking in the Valley with God, and my second book will be out February 28th, 2026, When Life Gives You Lemons, Check for a Genetic Mutation.

Concerts, Disneyland, and the beach will always be my happy place, and there will be plenty of that here because I believe in doing what we love and pointing it all towards Christ. I believe in highlighting my Bible in every color while eating Chick-fil-A, and I believe in falling in love with Jesus while being a modern-day Catholic.
